Please also refer to our Safety Center, Privacy Policy and Terms of Service for additional guidance.
What is Perry Street’s policy regarding sexual violence and other conduct that threatens public or personal safety?

At Perry Street Software, we are committed to creating a safe and respectful environment for all users. We do not tolerate any form of harassment, sexual violence, stalking, or any conduct that threatens personal or public safety, whether on or offline.

Engaging in sexual conduct with another person without their consent is not only against Perry Street Software rules but also against the law. It can lead to serious consequences, including civil or criminal liability. If there is a criminal investigation, we will fully cooperate with law enforcement.

For additional details regarding our rules, see our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

How can I report conduct or content that I think violates these guidelines?

Users of the SCRUFF App may submit a support request at https://support.scruff.com; users of the Jack’d App may submit a request at https://support.jackd.com

Submitting false reports for malicious, biased, or other illegitimate reasons is a violation of our Terms and may result in action being taken against your account.

Does Perry Street Software verify users’ identities or run criminal background checks?

We offer a selfie verification feature. In some cases, we may ask a user to complete a photo ID or selfie verification process if we suspect that an account is inauthentic, has been compromised, or belongs to someone who is ineligible to use our services.

No online photo verification or background screening process is foolproof, nor can it guarantee that a person is safe. Always be cautious when meeting new people online or in person. For more advice to help you stay safe, check out our Safety Center.

What happens to a user who is reported for violating the rules?

We take all reports of misconduct seriously. We promptly review reports and, if we determine the user has violated our Terms of Service, we take appropriate action. Depending on the seriousness of the violation, consequences will range from a warning to a ban. Violations involving violence, the threat of violence, sexual misconduct, or other serious harmful behavior will result in a ban on some or all Perry Street Websites or Apps.

We limit the information we share about reports when necessary to protect safety or privacy of reporters and other involved parties.

Users of the SCRUFF App who wishes to appeal an action may submit a support request at https://support.scruff.com; Users of the Jack’d App may submit a request at https://support.jackd.com

What actions will Perry Street take when a report about a user’s misconduct is received?

When a User submits a support request via https://support.scruff.com or https://support.jackd.com, Perry Street will conduct and investigation. This investigation may include inspecting profile information, messages exchanged, and other metadata about the profile in question. If policy violations are found, Perry Street may suspend, temporarily or permanently, the User in question. Perry Street may also report information to appropriate authorities, including the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children’s CyberTipLine. Information about another User may also be disclosed by Perry Street in limited circumstances, such as when Perry Street is the subject of a lawful subpoena or warrant or otherwise required by law.
